Monthly Livestream #14!

Thanks to everyone for tuning into yesterday's livestream! Here's the recording. I started off with a request for "Wave", then someone had a specific question about some Chick Corea lines on his tune "The One Step", so I decided to play that tune as well.

Then had a question about playing bossas on piano, and the difference between samba and bossa (based on some advice I got from the great Brazilian vocalist Claudia Villela.) Then a question about an arrangement of a Chopin Nocturne that I played at the Gilmore Festival last month, and into a breakdown the Chick lines on "The One Step" (thanks Marc for transcribing and sending this along!) This led to a tip on creating 6 note scales based on a lesson I had with Taylor Eigsti, a brief discussion of pentatonics and McCoy Tyner, and then into a discussion of chart writing. I think that's it! Was a fun session, and hope you enjoy this one.

Also I was able to fix the sound slightly from the live broadcast - there was some static in audio that I was able to remove from this audio. And I found out what the problem was and It won't happen again next month!
