Monthly Masterclasses
Every month I'll host a group masterclass. There is a rotation of 12 classes, so over the course of a year a student will have seen the whole cycle. The topics include "All About Comping", "Creating Voicings", "Rhythm Training", "Playing More Than Changes", "Intros and Endings", and more. I'll be going over specific things that I practice and use in my own playing. See the full schedule of this year's topics below!
Most of these topics are based on ideas in the Lesson Videos, and serve to elaborate on them. These are the topics that I tend to go over most often in lessons, and that I get asked about the most. So this cycle of classes will serve as an overview of all of the material that I teach.
The classes will be held live via Zoom, but they will also be recorded and available for viewing anytime afterwards.
Monthly Livestream/Q&A Sessions
These monthly livestreams are fun an open-ended sessions where I play a bit and take questions. I've been doing them every month since 2020! (formerly hosted on Patreon). We talk more in depth about topics introduced in the Lesson Videos, as well as any other questions you may have. Occasionally I have guests on the livestream. Past guests have included Melissa Aldana, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Pablo Menares, and Ken Peplowski.
All of these livestreams are archived, and can be watched at anytime.
